Talks of a New Female Focused Marvel Movie

It has previously been known that Olivia Wilde, director of ‘Booksmart’ will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She is now ready to direct a Marvel movie alongside Sony Pictures.

A day ago, she tweeted nothing but a spider emoji, which seemingly confirms reports that her new project will probably include a certain web-throwing character, only this time as a female instead of a male. Yes, it is time for us to see Spider Woman ruling theaters!

This movie’s main character’s origin story is completely different from that of Spider Man's. Jessica Drew happens to develop her spidey senses and powers after her father is forced to inject her with spiders’ blood because she suffers practically lethal exposure to radioactivity.

So, stay tuned to find out more about this future endeavor by Marvel and Olivia Wilde. Let’s hope that soon enough we will see a Spider woman on our cinema and TV screens and kids will dress up on Halloween as spider woman, instead of spider man!
